Description
The corner of Broad and Meeting Street sits Charleston's City Hall. Designed by architect Gabriel Manigault and erected in 1801, the building was originally home to the Bank of the United States later becoming Charleston's City Hall in 1818.
Gabriel Manigault was an American architect. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina in 1758, went to study in Geneva, Switzerland, and London, and came back to Charleston after the American Revolutionary War. He is credited with introducing the Adamesque style to the city after his studies in Europe.
Various textures have been used to achieve a vintage illustrative quality.
