The principle of 'Form follows Function' is that the shape of a building or object should be primarily based upon its intended function or purpose. This philosophy is tied to the modernist architecture and industrial design in the 20th century.
Although as a whole, one might not find a petrol storage tank all that beautiful architecturally, you have to admit to the beauty of the spiral stairs wrapping around the tank with the only color punctuating the structure being the safety yellow paint of the handrail.
My portfolio includes more traditional photography along with images enhanced with layers, textures, filters and other effects blended with the original image. This technique is referred to by many as photographic art or artistic photography. Sometimes this may be very obvious, sometimes it's a very subtle addition.
