Description
Antique Danish rotary phone, possibly circa 1930's.
The first telephone exchange opened in Copenhagen in 1881 with 22 subscribers, primarily business owners.
This first telephone company was originally owned and started by the American Company Bell. In 1882, Kjbenhavns Telefon-Aktieselskab (KTAS) was formed and by 1890's Danish telephone subscribers had increased to around 25,000. KTAS was the precursor to what is now TDC or Tele Danmark Company...if my research is correct!
Great companion wall art for a lover or collector of vintage phones or Danish antiques.
